Le Souk, Marrakech
I went to a coffee shop nearby and spent the whole day there, painting. I’ve always liked being in my own “studio” space (basically my work table), surrounded by all my supplies. But after I complained about how much I hate spending all of my weekend being cooped up in my apartment, Micah suggested I should go out somewhere to do work. I’ve done just that the past couple of weekends. On Saturdays I go to the library, and on Sundays I go to a coffee shop. It’s been working really well. I get work done while still getting out of the house. I don’t need people to do stuff with, but sometimes it’s just nice to have other people’s company around.
This is what I spent most of my time working on.
I was looking around tumblr today, and ran into this post by From Me To You about her travels in Marrakech. I had just finished reading a book that talks about the Souk, what a coincidence. I like all the crazy colors in the series, they remind me of the Spice Market in Turkey.
